Nestled within sacred valleys and waterways in cooee of D’Aguilar National Park, you will be deeply held by the magic of this ancient land.

Feathertail called me in…
‘Do you want to live in a treehouse?’ the advertisement asked.
YES was the short answer! The long answer makes for a great story…
Earlier that day, I’d been in the forest teaching 10 year olds the value of deep listening, and exchanging ‘treehouse’ dreams and hopes with a joyful young man. That night, having a little peek at the real estate market, the treehouse headline grabbed my attention… Honestly, you couldn’t make this up!
And so it was that the very first time I arrived at Feathertail, a giant Tallowwood Tree greeted me out front with an important message: “you will be supported by this land to remember your divine feminine”. Wow! That tree could really see me! My yin nature had been temporarily exiled during a challenging few years of my life that encouraged an over reliance on my masculine energy; a fierce and fiery warrior stepping forward to ensure my survival. But here at Feathertail, the warmth and light of the forest and the home itself - a living artwork the previous owners had created from up-cycled materials - sung softly and tenderly to the part of me most needing expression.
My custodianship of Feathertail began in late 2017 when I moved into this mainly off-grid home just in time for my 39th Birthday. I have gratefully inherited the reciprocity of thousands of years of deep connection, and the dedicated heart work of the previous owners who established the protection covenants on the property still in place today.
